Guideline 5 for Records Management


The Protect Principle means ACT Government organisations must secure, store and preserve records, information and data to protect the interests of the organisation and the rights of employees, clients, stakeholders and citizens, now and into the future. ACT Government organisations must take steps to protect their records, information and data from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
