The following new agency specific Records Disposal Schedules have been approved by the Director of Territory Records.

  • Business Development Records
  • Justice of the Peace Records

 

Archives ACT and Public Access

ACT Government records became open to the public for access on 1 July 2008.  ACT Government records can be accessed after 20 years, unless a process is undertaken to close them under Section 28 of the Territory Records Act 2002.

Archives ACT was launched on the same date and is the contact for researchers and members of the public wishing to access records.  Archives ACT can be contacted at:
